How we make money
Last Updated: October 27, 2026
Our lessons, games and videos are free, and we want to keep them that way. Here’s how NTYTBR pays for itself, and the rules we hold ourselves to.
Where the money comes from
- Affiliate links. Some links to products and services are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, the company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Every affiliate link on this site is labelled, and any page that has one says so at the top.
- Paid courses and ebooks. We sell in-depth courses and ebooks for people who want to go further than the free lessons.
- Sponsorships, in future. We may one day work with sponsors. If we do, sponsored content will always be clearly marked.
Our rules
- Lessons come first. Free lessons teach how money works. They don’t push products. When we recommend a specific product, it’s on a clearly marked recommendations page, not hidden in a lesson.
- Commission never decides a recommendation. We only recommend things we’d suggest even if we earned nothing. If a better option doesn’t pay us, we still tell you about it.
- We don’t promote risky products to beginners. We don’t use affiliate links for high-cost credit, payday loans or get-rich-quick schemes.
- No ad clutter. We don’t fill the site with display ads. If we ever add advertising, it will be limited and will never interrupt a lesson or a game.
- We tell you when we’re paid. Affiliate links are labelled, and sponsored content will be too.
Education, not financial advice
Everything on NTYTBR is general education. It isn’t personal financial advice, and it doesn’t take your situation into account. Before making a big financial decision, consider speaking to a qualified, regulated adviser in your country. See our Terms of Service for more.
